Cube World: Clouds and Shading

Today I tweaked the shading so that everything looks sunnier. The clouds got a bluish shading to make them look more cloudy.

Is the game gonna be freeware?

Probably not. I hope the final game will be good enough to put it on Steam.

When can we expect a pre-alpha release (or something), really looking forward to playing this.
Free or pre-order doesn't matter.

Yes I think I will release something like that when it is more developed. But be patient, I'm just a single developer. :)

I just game across the game and it's looking pretty nice so far, might I ask if you're looking for testers or in the future may be? I have a growing blog of my own here and would be willing to try and get it some attention if you'd like as well as give any feed back find bugs and such. But yeah, the first question =P Thanks

It's awesome to see that so many people like my project. I will do a beta test in the future but I'd like to fix and finish some things first, like questing, combat and SFX.

This is my new background of game I'm going to get when available. Did it with Skyrim and Minecraft, now using one of your images from atop the cliffs.

Hi, I'm Spacechaos257, you would not know who I am, but I've been watching your project and I found great. Sorry if you do not understand what I wrote because I used a translator.
It you want the game to be 100% made by you, but I want to give you a few ideas that could make this game even better.
I do not for profit, do not want to put my name in the credits. But it be great if a game like this is exploited better.
My first idea is to improve the environment of the game, although the mapping processor does an amazing job, I think it lacks a touch of realism. You could create bushes.
You could also create animals, I do not mean cows and pigs, I mean decorative animals, like birds flying through the air, fish swimming through the water, insects hovering in a dark place, rats running around in dungeons or monkeys jumping from tree to tree .
And considering that appear Goblins, trolls and other magical creatures, could appear ents, dragons, gargoyles or friendly elfs.
Also, when you finish the game and decide that people can help you improve it to a version 2.0, I will be happy to help with the music, since I'm a good songwriter.
For now, I give these ideas.
