These cubes begin to glow when your spirit increases.
When you perform a finishing move, their power is unleashed: fire spirit deals additional fire damage, unholy spirit drains life from the enemy and heals you by a small amount.
Spirits will be very rare and most likely be dropped by bosses. I'm planning to add more spirit types soon.

Hello, In your latest video, I noticed that you didn't have any hp regeneration (per second) So, I wonder if something like that will be added to the game or if we just have to use unholy spirit cubes, or eat mushrooms.

the spirit cubes are a great idea & im guessing from the screenshots we can place the cubes where we choose to on the weps/shield which i like even more as we can create our own designs

Is there any pattern to the shape or colour of the items? Like +1 might be similar to +2 in accending order, like an evolution? or are they just random?

According to the FAQ, he'll be adding a mage class. So it's a safe bet magic is on the way.

Wrong, in fact, 0.5 would be overpowered.
If your RoF is, say, 2.5 H/s, then in abour 90 secs of constant attack, you would kill your opponent.
This sounds like a long time, but against a boss, it is not.

If it's anything like what was mentioned in a previous post, you get 1 (or possibly more) pixels when you defeat a boss, and can choose where on the weapon they go.

I have to agree with Matt on this one, MMO will make this sink. Think of the bad things an MMO will bring... such as hacks and especially bots if you add currency and trading... Wollay, it's our opinions, do what you want. Of course inspired by World of Warcraft. This is a sure to be favorite indie RPG. Keep up the good job, I'll be waiting for this virtual treat. =)
I think that will take out most of the skill to fight monsters. He added parrying and dodging. He also added secondary special attacks such as swirling. I think that is more than enough. And you're asking for him to make it so you just click on the enemy? Come on, the fighting is one of the best parts of the game..
i'd buy two of these games just to show how much i respect the creativity used to make this game...

The spirit cubes are definetly a great idea!
1 weapon can only support 1 type of spirit ? Not green and red?
You will be adding more spirit cube veriaties , like blue for like freeze the enemy in place and yellow for nockback or dazed, purple, ect? hope to see that :)
Will the cubes be dropped by certain bose types, like some sort of fire demon for red like the bose in the castle video u released?
Are the weapons fully customizable? Like the hilt will remain the standard shape and can be upgraded and the weapon itself can be reshaped to our liking?
- if so can the blocks be placed in a full x,y,s dimensions or just on x,y to keep them flat?

I was just wondering because the shape of the 2 iron swords look different whether or not it had anything to do with + system.
Just curious because sword with the green stones appears to have multiple stones embedded, is it possible to install more than 1 stone of the same type to increase the potency of the stone's effect?
eg:
-1 firestone +1.5 fire damage
2 firestones +2.5 fire damge etc.
-1 unholystone drains 1 heart per SP hit
2 unholystones drains 1.5 hearts per SP hit.

I have got one cool idea for that weapon upgrading system:
You promissed once, that crafting will be avaible, so when player will craft his own sword, why couldnt he "draw" his sword by this system?
1. Player will firstly get base of this weapon (for sword only hand and 1x1x10 knife-edge)
2. Then he will be able to add up to 40 standard (non upgrade) iron cubes (more of them mean more damage and parry, but much slower attacks and a little bit more materials to spend)
3. After putting fresh sword into water edges will be brighter, like sharp edges :D
Tada! Every player will have their fully unique weapons, shields, armour, every one will want to have their Life Sword like real knights. Whye dont add this idea into game?
will there be a dueling function when the game is finished... i find spirits would be very useful there
Yeah! If your are good at Pixel Art, your weapon is pretty. If not, it sucks :)
add a pvp (player vs. player system with pvp on/off :D so when the monsters start to get too weak, you will can fight players bad english? sorry -.-

u gotta remeber its not really a "mmo" as since mmo "stand for masssively mutiplayer online as he stated in hes recent vids its going to be 4-5 players together so more like mmo "micro mutiplayer online lol
